Exploring Neuroscience & Society: An Undergraduate Town Hall

March 22, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

New developments in neuroscience are impacting society, from law to business to mental health.  Are you interested in separating the science fiction silliness from the truly transformative science and technology?  In analyzing the risks and rewards of these developments and determining how they can be managed ethically?  Penn’s Center for Neuroscience & Society (neuroethics.upenn.edu) is where we think about these issues, and we want to engage undergraduates in the process.

When: Wednesday, March 22, 12:00-1:00 PM

Where: Center for Neuroscience & Society, 2nd floor Goddard Labs, 3710 Hamilton Walk (see map – Penn Card required to enter building)

What: Meet the CNS and each other, discuss possible activities such as an undergrad journal club (reading group), special talks or other programming for undergrads, etc.

Lunch will be served. RSVP required: info@neuroethics.upenn.edu

Hope to see you there.  Let us know, at info@neuroethics.upenn.edu, if you are interested but cannot make this meeting.
