What does neuroscience tell us about religious experience? What are its implications for our understanding of religious life? Dr. Andrew Newberg, a leading neuroscientist and Director of Research for the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospital, is a pioneer in the neurological study of religious and spiritual experiences in particular, a field known as ‘neurotheology.’ Please join us as Dr. Newberg shares some of his research into the connections between brain science and religion.
