Project Description

Susanne Jaeggi investigates working memory and executive control across the lifespan with behavioral and neuroimaging methods. Dr. Jaeggi is known for her research on whether and how working memory capacity can be improved and whether such improvements enhance cognitive abilities more generally. In these intervention studies, Dr. Jaeggi’s goal is to determine the cognitive and neural mechanisms that underlie training-related changes.

Dr. Jaeggi is the recipient of both the Pfizer Research Award in Neuroscience and the Haller Medal for Scientific Excellency by the University of Bern, Switzerland.
