Neuroethics Conference

From May 14 to 16, the University of Padua will host the sixth edition of the International Scientific Neuroethics Conference, this year focused on “A look from which mind? The perspectives in Neuroethics”, that will be accompanied, as absolute novelty, by the first congress of the newly set-up Italian Society for Neuroetics (SINe) chaired by Alberto Oliverio of the Sapienza University of Rome.

The speakers will include: Fabio Paglieri of the Institute of Sciences and Technologies of Cognition of the National Research Council (ISTC-CNR), Mario De Caro of the University of Roma Tre, Diego Marconi of the University of Turin, Michele Di Francesco of the University Institute for Advanced Study (IUSS), Pietro Pietrini of the University of Pisa, Laura Boella of the University of Milan, Pierre Jacob of the Institut Jean Nicod in Paris,Raffaella Rumiati of Sissa in Trieste, Alberto Priori of the University of Milan, Karsten R. Stueber of the College of Holy Cross, Massachusetts (USA), and Michael Gazzaniga of the University of California, Santa Barbara, who will give a lectio magistralis.

The scientific committee promoting the event features Giuseppe Sartori of the University of Padua and Andrea Lavazza of the International University Centre in Arezzo.
