We are pleased to announce the essay call for Neuroethics Essay Contest in 2023 and the addition of a new video essay category open to all eligible authors.

The contest encourages students and trainees to engage in complex ethical issues related to the brain and mind that impact society and their communities. Through their essays, authors contribute their original perspectives to neuroethics discourse and articulate unique challenges and opportunities at the intersection of neuroscience and society.

Held annually since 2014, the Neuroethics Essay Contest is organized by members of the INS Student/Postdoc Committee and editors of the IYNA Journal, a publication of the International Youth Neuroscience Association (IYNA). See the essay call for details.

Submissions must be received by July 7, 2023, at 11:30 p.m. EDT. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted. The deadline has been extended in previous years, but this is not guaranteed.
